GPO Trailer restoration
Another project we have undertaken is the restoration of one of our own General Post Office (GPO) K6 kiosk trailers.
These were often used by the GPO to install K6 telephone kiosks around the country. They are now extremely rare.
These trailers are designed to lift and lower then install a K6 kiosk upright, especially useful in areas that can otherwise prove tricky or awkward for a lorry. These can usually be used providing there is enough access for a van with trailer.
Here, we guide you through the process of the restoration. If you want to see a bigger copy of a picture, simply click on one, and an enlarged version will appear in a new window - please be patient, as these are JPEG's, for better quality.
