MUSEUM / WORKSHOP FEATURE... COMING SOON!
For the last twelve months I've acted as architect, resource & project manager on an 'old style' new barn build.
Utilising an assortment of local reclaimed Victorian bricks, flint, chalk & carrstone together with clay pantiles, windows, even float glass. The result is an outbuilding designed to house my own collection of restored kiosks, pillar boxes & memorabilia. I've tried to incorporate traditional period detail within the building by using local 'sharp' sand, lime morter, even reclaimed wrought iron purlin gable end wall ties. Faux windows bricked up using Victorian 'Suffolk yellows', parapet gables to name but a few features. It even has its own hayloft with lifting pullies!
Feature coming soon...

KIOSK TRAILER MK2... A RARE FIND!
We are fortunate to have tracked down an early K6/K8 trailer. Despite being stood in a field for many years it's in remarkably good condition & amazingly complete!
This trailer, known as Kiosk trailer No2, was produced in 1982 by Lolode Trailers of Bedford under the strict guidelines of the General Post Office.
Being hydraulic in operation it picks up kiosks, lowers them into a horizontal position for transportation, and can, with some ease, pivot them upright, levitate them above the ground & position them in any orientation!
I'm planning to restore this rare unit in the summer months & put it back into service.
